Cherry Blossoms

I have always been fascinated by cherry blossoms, or sakura as they are called in Japanese. Maybe it’s because of the insane amount of anime I used to watch on television when I was a kid. The first anime I saw was Cardcaptor Sakura, in which there were scenes with cherry blossom trees in the background. I suppose it’s because the tree has a calming effect when it’s just swaying slowly in the wind, a few flowers being carried away by the wind, against the background of a bright blue sky (the GIF I've put up here is from Pinterest: https://in.pinterest.com/pin/378443174912860079/). Instantly I would feel a sweet scent of a flower—not that I have any idea how a cherry blossom smells.

Here is an old sketch of a cherry blossom I made.
